Lunch update brought to you by the letter Y. And my sore and tanned arms.
My job is fucking killing me. I'm doing shit that has nothing to do with my job description. I'm a chemical engineer, I spent 5 years at uni.Going to the tip and unloading wood is kind of wierd to do as part of that. Fortunately I'm getting paid a chem eng's salary still. But after shoveling barrels of magnetite (density 5.5) into a skip for hours it gets annoying.
This week I really really want to have as much time to work with my personal life as possible, instead I'm having to work past 6 every night. The timing of it is unbelievably evil.
In completely unrelated news and bright blip in my lunch hour, the current SP story arc is awesome, in a "the big U" sort of vein. Sometimes fiction is best when the author says "Hey everyone...you know is is fiction right? Lets have some awesoness and not worry about those pesky real world bits of logic". That is the same reason I read Matthew Reilly novels(all my humanities degree friends will disown me for admitting that one).
